The Easter bunny is on his way!

Hope you have all enjoyed your weekend so far, the weather today has been somewhat brighter but not brilliant, I'm just thankful it's not raining up here :)

So, first I'd like to share with you an Easter Bunny box I made for Stu. It's super easy to make.
I purchase a template designed by Lauren Meader (she is sooo fantastic and with 3 kids I really don't know where she finds the time! *Super mum*)

The template for this one is available from Papertrey Ink.
It's called 'Bun in the oven' but as Lauren shows you on her blog, her templates are all about versatility and really are just fantastic!

So, I hope you like this. I thought it was a really cute idea!

Below are some cards I've made recently. For nothing in particular just having a play!

Now this one was fun!
Stu is a big film fan and when he heard that 'Watchmen' was coming out in the pictures bugged us all to go watch it - but not on any ordinary screen - he wanted to go to Manchester and watch it on the Imax screen!

It was good, not normally my cup of tea but a group of us went and it was a laugh. So, to cut a long story short I bargained with him that if I went to see it with him he had to do something that I like, i.e. crafting! So Last week I prepped a little craft lesson for him and below is the card he 'copied'

I was actually surprised that he was really good! He rocked the stamp-a-mag-jig but he could perhaps practice cutting out a bit more!

I promise to share a picture of his effects soon.

I will be back early next week to share pictures of the cards I received in that swap I was telling you about last week.

Thanks for stopping by,
Take care

It had to be a man!!

It's time for the Grand National!!!
Growing up in Aintree, Liverpool this weekend is so exciting for all who live here.
There is such a buzz about.

Our house backs onto the race course and we are lucky enough to be able to watch from the bedroom BUT in the days running up to this great event they put up the biggest and brightest floodlights I've ever seen! lol.

Well, as the blog post is titled it HAD to be a man that ever so kindly put them up FACING my bedroom window!! Even with the curtains closed at night it feels like it's the middle of summer. And then there's the helicopters...
Ah well! I suppose it kinda adds to the atmosphere!

Sorry about these pictures, they were taken early morning so look a little foggy ...

And on a crafty note I have a few samples using products available from the mini to show you.

I've just received some swaps made with products from the mini too so will photograph and post these during the week. They are fab and will give you lots of inspiration.

They are very talented girls over on ILWS!

So, my bets have been placed and my fingers are crossed. And if I win it'll no doubt go on more craft stash haha!

Hope you have a great Saturday
Thanks for stopping by,
Take care x
