Convention swaps...

... Give me so many new ideas!

So, as I was saying in my last post we got so many fabulous swaps from the other Stampin' Up! demo's at convention that I just have to share them with you!

What I've decided to do is have a look through all my swaps and design a card (or two) using either the stamp set, technique or colour scheme from that swap.

So my first one is an easel card, I've been meaning to give this a try for a couple of weeks now so this was the first one I picked! It's easy to do but looks so effective.

Now, unfortunately this swap didn't have any contact details from the designer, so if this is yours, please comment and I will add your name to the post. It's so gorgeous, you really do need credit for it.

The set used here is 'Good Friend' - I love this set so much and need to use it more!

My take on this is using the 'Sparkly and bright' set, I've used it to death, but love it more each time ! I wanted to go for non-traditional Christmas colours and this is what I came up with.

The 'easel' part is kept up using brads, I've seen it done with ribbon, fabric flowers and even sentiments on punched circles etc. There are so many different ways to do this.

I hope you like it, Saturday I will post another easel card so make sure you stop by.

Take care
x
