Butterflies

Oops, has it been a week already??

Sorry about that!

Tonight I had my Flight of the Butterfly class and we had such a laugh, I need to thank Linda in my downline for coming along and the lovely ladies who attend my classes each month. They really are a great bunch :)

We made 6 cards and a matching desk organiser, I adapted the measurements slightly from a tutorial Jo D did here to fit into some clear plastic boxes.

I can't wait for our next one, I will share details about that one soon.

Happy Birthday Julie!!

Today is the lovely Julie's birthday, I met Julie at last years convention when we were roomies and we had such a laugh!

I used the Flight of the Butterfly stamp set with coordinating butterfly punch.

It was inspired by one of the cards in the current catalogue and changed the colours slightly.

A Stamp With Us Sketch.

Hi everyone,
Happy Sunday!

Here's the sketch for SWU this fortnight.

I thought it would be the perfect opportunity to get a 6 x 6 scrapbook page done! I've always wanted to give scrapbooking a go, but was always too scared (I don't really know why...)

I might even get enough done to fill a scrapbook, you never know!

I really like how it turned out, and having the sketch was a great help.

Now, because this was a spare of the moment idea I didn't have any photos printed *to be scrapped etc, so I tried to keep the page as neutral as possible but I'm sure I'll find one to go on there.

This is using the new colours Soft Suede for the background and Melon Mambo and Rich Razzleberry butterflies with some Razzleberry polka dot ribbon (and I had to include some ribbon ruffling didn't I!?)
