Some more samples...

Afternoon everyone,

Hope your week is going well, I don't know where mine has gone! I really need to make more time to craft :)

Here are some more samples I received from the Stampin' Up! training event in Manchester.

This first one was our make and take. It uses one of my favourite new stamp sets called Contempo Christmas which has this gorgeous bauble in it - which also has a matching bauble PUNCH!! I know!

I plan to use this set for my Christmas cards as well as making some lovely little bauble ornaments (my order is due for delivery tomorrow, I'm too excited!)

I don't know if you can tell from this picture but we punched out the bauble 3 times and folded them in half, then stuck the edges together to give a 3d effect. There is also a matching treat bag using one of our cello bags which would be perfect for some Christmas choccies!

And here are the rest of the swaps, I love swapping at the Stampin' Up! events. It's a fabulous way to get some new ideas and inspiration - I hope you get some fresh ideas from these.

Aren't they all fab? So many talented ladies I'm really proud to be apart of Stampin' Up!

And don't forget that my Catalogue Launch Party is on Saturday the 16th of October at 12pm, there will be a free make & take if you book your place so get in contact today!

It should be a fun afternoon with prize draws, offers and plenty of chat, chocolate and crafting.

Thanks for stopping by,
take care.

First up is my swap, using Rose Red, Crumb Cake and Very Vanilla. I love Kraft - which has now been renamed Crumb Cake which makes it even yummier in my mind.

Don't forget to come back tomorrow for more samples from Manchester.

Oh what a night..!

Morning all!

Yesterday was the Manchester training provided by Stampin' Up! and 5 of us from Liverpool set off on our road trip with Keren kindly driving.

This is partly the reason why I haven't been updating my blog as much as I'd have liked to - myself and Keren were asked to prepare a project and demonstrate it in front of the other 40 or so demonstrators... eeek!

Here is Keren doing a brilliant job, her card was just gorgeous !

I've been preparing and practising for weeks and as it's been getting closer I was getting more and more nervous... but it's good to move out of your comfort zone and challenge yourself and in the end I really enjoyed it (once my part was over with haha!)

As a demonstrator, I never pass up the opportunity to do swaps (which are basically samples made by other demo's which you 'swap' to exchange ideas and techniques) and yesterday was no exception. The swaps I received were absolutely gorgeous and I can't wait to show you them.

Linda (from my team) was sooo funny, every time someone arrived she would get giddy and shout 'swaps!' at them hehe, you made my night Linda :) !

I'd just like to give a shout out to the newest member of my team - Vicki!
Sorry you weren't there last night but there will be plenty of time for more events.

Last night got me really excited for convention, I need to get cracking on my swaps now... think there are 185-ish from the UK alone !

Thanks for stopping by,
take care.
