... but have nothing to show for it!

Feels like I'm getting nowhere fast. Been sorting out my super huge stash as I really can't keep all of it *sigh* so will be picturing and adding to eBay and maybe some of the new stuff I could post as blog candy... watch this space!
I will plod on and hopefully have a much more interesting post for you all soon.

So, the SU! mini catalogue isn't officially launched until the 1st of April but it's only a couple of days away and I know you've all been very patient so here you go!

Other than not getting anything done I've managed to have a play with my shot glasses but not got pictures at the moment (sorry - I'm rubbish aren't I?!) Will share soon.

I've had a trip to Ikea and have found something fab-u-lous!!! I feel a mini tutorial coming on... They are so easy I hope you'll love them as much as I do.

Off crafting topic, I'm getting so impatient for my holiday to Florida, how am I expected to contain my excitement until May?? I don't think it's possible - imagine all those US shops! Michael's, target... oooooo!!!!! And the clothes shops too, of course! (my, that's a lot of exclamation marks I'm using...)
I'm putting off going holiday shopping because I will start packing , I'm notorious for that lol. And my lists, colour co-ordinated... I'm such a geek haha!

Wedding favors and a blog award

So, now that's done I wanted to show you some favors I made for my mum's wedding in June last year just before she moved to Dubai. I had a ball making these and have been itching to make more ever since!

Below are some cake boxes, we actually had them on a circle stand and placed the wedding cake on top in the centre. It looked so fab having that as a base to the cake!

And for the favors, I made these little bag-a-lopes. I found the template on Split Coast Stampers and just altered it to fit in with the specifications.

I don't know why I've waited so long to share these with you but better late than never hey!

Sorry I've been a bad blogger...

... I don't know where the time goes.

This week I've had my mini pre-order arrive and the stamps are just so delicious! I promise to share some samples with you when I get a minute!

My sister's party last week was really good, I can't believe how many friends she has!

And above is the only half decent photo I have haha. Bless her, she's drunk already!
But I suppose your only 18 once!

Keepsake canvas

Hi all, hope your having a creative Saturday!

Just a quick post to show you a canvas I made for Stu for our anniversary.

I've been meaning to make one of these for a while now and finally got round to it. It's very addictive and so so easy I can't wait to do more of them.

What do you think?

I've been wanting to start scrapbooking for a while - have done a few that you get in a kit and follow their layouts but doing this canvas has really given me the bug to get going on my own so watch this space!

It's my sisters 18th birthday party tonight so need to go get ready. Will get some pics and hopefully get a chance to blog them within the next day or so.

Busy busy busy!!

Can you believe it's nearly the end of February?! Where is the time going...

So, this week I've been making cards, cards and more cards!

I've posted some pictures just to show you how fab the Stampin' Up! products are if you're not already addicted to them!

This one is using the 'Crazy for cupcakes' set.

This one is using an level 3 hostess set and repeating the image in a line using the trusty stamp-a-ma-jig which works every time and then I've isolated the message from a stamp in the 'Fun & Fast notes' set.

The background on this card is using the 'Petals' Stampin' Around jumbo wheel and the flower is from 'Botanical blooms' which is one of the limited edition sets *see start of post to find out how to get it free*

Again on this one I've used an image from 'Crazy for cupcakes' and then the band along the middle was stamped in versamark , coated with the heat and stick powder and topped off with dazzling diamonds ~ note to self ~ do this more often!

I've used the 'Cheers to you' image and message on here and again used the dazzling diamonds to accent the drink.

I love this little dotty flower stamp from 'Simply said' and the red accents on the left hand side are flowers using the 'Three for you' flower punch and just adhered to the edge.

And finally this is a card I made for my {uber trendy} cousin in London - 31 !!

Image is Stamping Bella and papers, ribbon and message are Stampin' Up!

I've isolated the message again from 'Fun & Fast notes' and used the stamp-a-ma-jig to make sure it was stamped exactly where I wanted it.

I also used my stampin' write markers with the blender pens to colour and they are sooo fab!
They make my heart *glow* ha!

Below is a card I made for Stu as it's our 6 year anniversary on 21.02.09.
We've been together since we were 16 and he really is my best friend (Aww lol)

For this I used SU!'s stamp set 'Simply Said' for the heart, 'Wonderful Words' for the love at the bottom (I adore this stamp it is so fab!) and the stamp on the envelope is from 'Sealed with a kiss'

And a card for my little sis who turns 18 on the 12th of march.

(Happy Birthday Sammi - Stop borrowing my clothes without asking !)

The Girl stamp is from Stamping Bella.
I used SU!'s Dazzling Diamonds to sparkle her belt and drink and I used the Whimsy stamping around jumbo wheel for the background.
I'm addicted to my wheels *Heart*
