Shall we Sale-a-brate?

With the end of the year drawing near, Stampin' Up! are offering a fantastic special called Sale-A-Bration.

What is Sale-A-Bration?

It is a chance for us to reward you, our customers, to one-off stamps sets.

How does it work?

For every £45 you spend in net sales (before P&P) you can choose one of the four sets from the Sale-A-Bration catalogue.

If you host a workshop and the net sales (again, before P&P) are of at least £300 you can choose one of the four sets available. For example, if you are hosting a workshop and you purchase £90 worth of products, and the rest of your guests make the sales up to £300 or more, you can choose 3 SAB sets (two from your £90 purchase and one from the sales of your party reaching £300) but on top of this you will also get your hostess benefits as normal. It's not capped!!

If you join my team during the Sale-A-Bration period, you can also choose a stamp set from the main catalogue (exc. hostess sets which are not available for purchase) up to the value of £38.95!! And what's more, as a little extra I will also send you a free Classic Stampin' Pad and 1/4" Grosgrain ribbon reel in your choice of colours! Whether you want to sign up purely for the discount, you want to share the discount with family and friends or you want to make a career out of Stampin' Up! contact me for details. I've recently found out how great it is to be apart of this fantastic company, and you can too!

How long will this offer last?

Sale-A-Bration starts from the 30th of December and runs to the 28th of February so there is plenty of time to book a party or get some of the items that are on your item wishlist.

You can download our catalogue here, just click on the link or e-mail me and I will send one out in the post.

So, get in touch! I'd be more than happy to host a workshop for you. If you don't want to host a workshop but would love to earn the free stamps then why not get together with some friends, browse the catalogue and host a 'virtual party'. That way, I can enter your order as a hostess order and you still get the benefits of a workshop! Again, please dont hesitate to contact me with any questions you may have.

I look forward to booking a workshop for you, or helping you get earn some free products whilst reducing your wishlist!

Thanks for stopping by,
take care.

Merry Christmas !!!!

I hope your all having a fantastic day.

I just wanted to share a photo with you. I took part in a secret Santa swap on ILWS and this is what I received through the post! How great it that tag!

Now, I've scheduled this post so I wont be able to share the contents with you until after the big day.

I can't wait to see what's inside, and to be able to thank my Santa properly.

Thanks for stopping by,

Twas the night before Christmas...

... Kind of.

Sorry I'm late posting this, today has been such a blur but I can finally relax!

Now, this post is picture heavy so be warned!

Firstly I would like to wish you all a very Happy Christmas and the most amazing New Year, I hope it brings you everything you wish for.

Now, I haven't technically made these myself (shock horror!) but I love them all the same.

In this picture is a glass bauble, I've inserted a picture from last Christmas of my sister, my nan and me. I was planning on getting pictures in the snow but it's melted lol, so unless we have another night of it I may have to do with indoor pictures but there will be plenty of years to fill up with wonderful memories.

This candle was a very last minute present idea, it's scented and I will find it difficult to part with but I always say, if a presents worth giving - it should be hard to give away!

And here's one with Paddy in, having a little nose while I was taking arty farty photos lol.

And his stocking came out, filled with doggie treats. It amazes me how he recognises it each year.

Another one of Paddy just before he went rummaging for his treats and nearly knocked the tree over! (Apologises for the blur)

Now these little cuties were made by a very talented lady from work. I got them for me a Stu as a little extra for tomorrow (or later I should say...)

Frosty and his girlfriend Snowflake!

Look at his cute little face.

They are actually Walnut Whips covered in icing ! I think it's going to be hard to eat them.

Every year my dad always lets us open a present on Christmas Eve just before bed, and it's always the new PJ's ! Here's Paddy eagerly waiting for his treat to be opened, bless him. (His eyes look rather evil here!)

Well, hope you've enjoyed this little snippet into our house this Christmas. I better get some sleep.

Thanks for stopping by,
take care.

It's Christmas Eve Eve !!

Oh I'm starting to get excited!

Today's project is a mini cracker (Not a pull-able one but more of a cracker shaped treat box)

I've put money in mine but you could use anything small like that - even jewellery!

Now, as I mentioned yesterday I met up with another two SU! demo's Vicki and Keren, and we had such a fab time crafting and talking (mainly talking lol)

We each designed a mini project to make and here they are!

Vicki designed a tag box for us to make, I love it so simple but very effective.

Vicki also made Keren and I a matching card, I love the colour combo lots!

Keren's project was a Triangle Tri-fold card in this gorgeous colour combo. Keren was such a great hostess and made us feel right at home! Thank you Keren :o)

And my card, which pales in comparison!

It's giving you a sneaky peek at one of the free sets only available through the SAB promotion starting soon so watch this space for details!

Tuesday means...

...3 more sleeps!!

Today I have some really quick and easy last minute tags to make, why not give them a try? I think a little handmade tag make presents just that little bit more special!

I hope you like them.

Right, I best be getting ready, I have a craft date with two lovely ladies - Vicki and Keren tonight and can't wait!

We have made a little project for each other to make so will be sharing when I get back.

Thanks for stopping by,
take care.

Is it Christmas week already??

Oh dear... I really need to get a move on!

Here's today's offering. It's a mini bag of mini candy canes!!

I love candy canes, it's not Christmas in our house without them.

It's surprisingly easy to make, just a Real Red card topper, Whisper White card scalloped with the Scallop edge punch. A strip of Basic Black for his belt and So Saffron square for his belt buckle, I just used my Basic Black Journal pen to draw in the details. Any the candy canes are gathered together in a small cello bag.

Would make nice little treats for the dinner table.

Hope you like!

Thanks for stopping by,
take care.

Shall we call it 4 more sleeps?

Ooo it's nearly here!

And today's post is a little different.

Not only is it one of my favourite in the countdown, but it's my first design as a design team member over on Stamp With Us!

I'm so excited to be apart of this website, you really need to check it out if you don't already :o)

And you know me, I love playing with my ribbon. When making this is reminded me of the Elizabethan neck ruffle thingy's.

Hope you like it, they're not necessarily colours you would use for Christmas but it a little bit different!

Thanks for stopping by,
take care.

6 sleeps...

...it really is coming up quickly!

Sorry for the late post today, I've been chasing my tail all day trying to get shopping done!

Today's card was really simple to make but I love it!

You can make two of these out of one sheet of A4 (Sorry, not big on my card sizes so don't know what that would be??)

And I got to use some more of this scrummy striped ribbon with I *Heart* soooo much!

I used my Stamp-a-ma-jig to get prefect placement of my little friends!

Then colours in Rudolf's nose with a Real Red marker and applied Crystal Effects to make it raised!

Ooooh, I love these. Hope you do too!

Thanks for stopping by,
take care.

The countdown continues...

... and today I want to share another 'gift' holder.

This time it's money rather than a gift card but all the same I'm sure the recipient will glad accept it lol.

Again, this is another simple design (and I'm STILL loving that little reindeer!)

The pocket inside and ribbon detail is really simple to do but I think looks so effective.

Hope you like it!

Thanks for stopping by,
take care.

8 sleeps!

8 or 7 sleeps left? I can never work it out properly!

Anyway, here is my 4th offering for my Countdown to Christmas.

It's a very simple card, not too fussy.

I added a bit of glitter to the dotty DSP (not sure if you can pick it up on the picture) for a bit of bling!

Phew! Busy busy, presents still arriving in the post for friends and family - need to get wrapping.

Speaking of post, I received a package today which contained all the fabulous cards from a swap I took part in on ILWS. We were to choose a card from the IB&C and CASE it! So I'm hoping to share them with you soon, gorgeous!

Thanks for stopping by,
take care

So it's 9 sleeps now!

How are you getting on?

I've only got a dew more presents to get, didn't think I was that organised!

Today's project is very quick and simple to make.

A gift card holder!

It's basically a little card, the size of your gift card with slits in for you to pop your prezzie in.

take care.

10 days!

Wow, it's whizzing up on us quickly isn't it? I had a little panic last night when someone in work said it was next week!!!

So here's the second card, and surprise surprise I've used the Sparkly and Bright set! I have to admit now, most of these cards are lol. I just love that little reindeer!

And the Real Red ribbon is so scrumptious I could eat it!

Hope you like!

Thanks for stopping by,
take care.

Let the countdown begin!

Hello everyone, hope your well.

I have to say I'm still recovering from the weekend, feet are soooo sore haha (fashion before comfort and all that !)

So, it's only 11 days left to Christmas, and that means I've got 11 cards to share with you!

So let the countdown commence!

This first one was actually really simple to make.

I used a Stampin' Up! wheel for the background and love how it turned out.

And there's no surprise to tell you I've used the Sparkly and Bright stamp set again.
It's so cute!!

Join me again tomorrow.

Thanks for stopping by,
take care.

Join me...

... On Monday for the Countdown to Christmas!!

I really can't believe how quickly December is zooming by, where does the time go? I can remember thinking the same thing last year, and making a mental note to get organised EARLY. But I seemed to have thrown that note away and here I am wishing I'd started everything at least a month earlier!

Ah well, wouldn't be Christmas without the last minute rush lol.

Hopefully this will give you a few last minute ideas for the gift giving season!

Thanks for stopping by,
take care.

Inspired by convention swaps...

...is at an end.

I hope you have enjoyed this mini series as much as I've enjoyed the challenge! I'm kinda sad it's come to an end but keep your eye out for my Christmas countdown staring next week!

So the last card, I have to say, has been totally CASE'd from a blog called Stamp Away With Me.

I saw this on my blog travels and loved what she did with the ribbon. I also used one of the hat pins, beads and flat backed pearls from the Pretties Kit which, up until now, I hadn't been able to bring myself to use haha! You know what it's like...

I love the satin ribbon, it bunches up so lovely and ties beautifully, and of course, I've been using my Kraft card stock - you've probably noticed I just can't get enough of it!

And here are all 3 of the ribbon creations together. I really hope this has provided you with some inspiration and made you think about doing something different with your ribbon!

Now, I have a little announcement to make!

I am so honoured to be chosen to become one of the new Design Team members over on Stamp With US !!

If you've never seen this site you really need to take a look, it's full of fantastic inspiration that I'll truly have my work cut out! They post a new challenge every fortnight.

Thanks for stopping by,
take care.

Feeling...

... a little better, but not 100%.

Hope your all well, I'm stocking up on paracetamol and hoping for the best. Every Friday and Saturday until Christmas I've got something planned so hope this lurgy goes!

I recently saw a post on this blog on how to make a weaved Christmas wreath. Isn't it gorgeous?

I made it exactly the same but didn't join the two ends, so I ended up with a bookmark!
I love it, so easy to do as well, would make a great stocking filler for a book lover!

And of course, I had to use it in this book! I've decided to re-read my Twilight books and I'm onto New Moon already - as you can see.

Don't forget to join me here again on Monday for the last creation inspired by the swaps I received at convention.

Thanks for stopping by,
take care.

Taken down...

... with the dreaded lurgy :o(

Firstly I'd like to apologise for not posting this yesterday.
As the title suggests, I'm feeling pretty rubbish at the moment and we're so busy in work, I can't really stay off, so the simplest of tasks has drained my energy! I'm sneezing past myself and generally feeling sorry for little old me!

On to crafty news, the following card is the last in my mini series. I hope you have enjoyed it as much as I have.

There were so many swaps I received from convention that I wish I could have done this with all of them but I really need to get a move on with my Christmas cards!

So this card is from Theresa Martin. Thank you Teresa, I love this card so much.

What really grabbed me was how she has used the ribbon. As I mentioned a couple of posts back, I've seen this done a lot lately and think its fabulous.

This time I haven't actually made a card *Shock Horror!*
(Although your getting a sneaky peek of a Christmas card I'll be revealing in my Christmas Countdown!)

Over on ILWS, a very lovely girlie, Jo organised a HUGE share of these clear boxes and when I saw them I just had to have them - you know what its like lol.

When mine arrived I was squeaking like an over excited two year old.

I decided to make a ribbon bow, but not just any bow!

It was actually really easy to make, I think I feel a tutorial coming on (when I get a chance!)

I hope this gives you some ideas for your Christmas presents. Keep your eyes peeled for the tutorial on the side of my blog.

I'll be back tomorrow with my 2nd creation with ribbon.

Thanks for stopping by,
take care.
